Points for School Perks! Contest Rules and Regulations

The following are the rules (“Rules”) for the Points for School Perks! Contest (“Contest”).

To be eligible for the Contest, entrants must currently be enrolled as a post-secondary student for the 2025/2026 school year in Canada (excluding Quebec). Proof of enrolment will be required to claim contest prize.

Entrants not yet the age of majority or older at the time of entry in their province or territory of residence will be required to secure the signature of a parent or guardian on the Winner Release Form in order to claim contest prize.

Employees of Points for School Inc. and its affiliates, subsidiaries, related companies, advertising and promotional agencies and the household members of any of the above, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.

To enter:

1. Join Points for School (it’s free): https://app.pointsforschool.com/register and

2. Opt-in to receive updates from Points for School (you can opt-out at any time, but you need to be opted-in by the contest closing date to be selected as a winner).

The Contest will run from August 25th, 2025 at 12:00:01 a.m. ET to October 3rd, 2025 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the “Contest Period”), after which time no further entries will be considered.

Within five (5) business days of Contest completion, a Points for School Inc. representative shall randomly select winners from all eligible entries.

The potential winners will be contacted via the email used to register at Points for School and will have five (5) business days to respond and provide an executed Winner release form.

If a selected potential winner does not respond in the allotted time, another potential winner may be selected at Points for School Inc’s sole discretion.

There are twenty (20) Prizes available to be won, each of which consists of a $250 Points for School Education Credit.  The value of each prize is two hundred and fifty dollars (CDN$250) and will be deposited directly into the student’s account at their educational institution.

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entrants.

One $250 prize per winner will be awarded.

Duplicate entries by any participant will be removed.

The Prize is not redeemable for cash, will not be extended under any circumstances and must be accepted as offered without substitution.

The Winner will be required to execute a Winner release form (“Release”) that confirms Winner’s:

(i) eligibility for the Contest;
(ii)  acceptance of the Prize as offered;
(iii) release of Points for School Inc. and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates and/or related companies
and each of their employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors, administrators, licensees, representatives, advertising, media buying and promotional agencies (collectively, the “Releases”) from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising out of participation in the Contest or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the Prize, including but not limited to costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any and all claims of third parties arising therefrom; and
(iv)  grants to Points for School Inc. of the unrestricted right, in Points for School Inc.’s sole discretion, to produce, reproduce, publish, broadcast, communicate by telecommunication, exhibit, distribute, adapt and otherwise use or re-use the Winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice and biography, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, in connection with the Contest and the promotion and exploitation thereof. The executed Release must be returned within five (5) business days of the date indicated on the accompanying letter of notification or the verification as a Winner or the selected entrant will be disqualified and the Prize forfeited.

Personal information collected during the course of the Contest shall be used by Points for School Inc. and its authorized representatives solely for the purposes of conducting the Contest and awarding prizes, and will not be used or disclosed for any other purpose unless required by law. Points for School Inc. will use the entrant’s personal information only for identified purposes, and protect the entrant’s Personal Information in a manner that is consistent with Points for School Inc.’s Privacy Policy at: https://pointsforschool.com/privacy-notice.
